Privacy policy

How KlearChain processes your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

KlearChain SRL, Rue du Temple 8, 4520 Wanze, Belgium (CBE BE 1041.090.013). For any questions regarding your data: info@klearchain.be.

Data collected

Via the contact form, we collect: your name, your email address, your telephone number if you provide it (this field is optional), the nature of your request, your capacity (individual, individual referred by their adviser, or professional acting on behalf of a client), the urgent nature of your request, if applicable, and the content of your message. No payment data, private keys, or wallet data are collected on this website.

Purpose of processing

This data is used solely to process your contact request: to respond to you, qualify your need and, where applicable, provide an indicative quote. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box provided before submitting the form. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to info@klearchain.be; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

Retention period

Form data is retained for twenty-four months from the last exchange, then deleted. If you withdraw your consent, it is deleted without delay, unless the law requires otherwise. When an engagement is entrusted to us, it becomes part of your case file and is deleted upon completion of the engagement; invoices and accounting records are kept for ten years, as required by law. The host’s connection logs are kept for seven days.

Recipients

Your data is processed by the KlearChain team, with three data processors: Formspark (Trampoline Software SRL, Gembloux, Belgium) for the form; Proton AG (Geneva, Switzerland) for the info@klearchain.be mailbox; Clever Cloud SAS (France) for hosting the website and its connection logs. The transfer to Switzerland is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision. No data is sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

Your rights

In accordance with GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to info@klearchain.be. You can also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (APD, rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).
